Can I Take Garcinia Cambogia For Weight Loss While Suffering From Arthritis?

I have been taking Garcinia Cambogia for weight loss....seems only minimally effective despite being on a calorie restricted diet (high protein, low carb, low fat). I ve been on it for about 2 months. Additionally, I have been taking a glucosamine/chondroitin capsule with added anti-inflammatory herbs and green tea. I have moderate arthritis in both knees, hips and lower back. That is the reason for trying to get my weight down and for taking the glucosamine, et al capsules. I have been taking both of these supplements for about two months. In the last three weeks I have been having nose bleeds about every three to four days or so and the last episode lasted about four hours. It finally got under control with pressure and ice to the area. The bleeding is only from one nostril and is not due to any trauma to the nares, either by nose-picking or externally applied trauma. I decided to do a little research on green tea extract, boswellia, turmeric, and holy basil leaf extract, all of which are in the glucosamine/chondroitin capsules. Incidentally, Vitamin E 25 IUs is also in those capsules. That is the total Vitamin E I take each day. I know that the Vitamin E has anti-coagulant properties. But I was not aware that Green Tea Extract has that benefit as well. I am not on any anti-coagulant but I was shocked to find that Garcinia Cambogia is also used for some thrombotic conditions in conjunction with Coumadin. Source? Dr. Behar Greca on your website. I am worried that combining all of these supplements may be behind my nose bleeds. I will stop them for now but I wondered whether or not I should see an EENT specialist as well, just in case the bleeds are due to some other cause. My physician says just stop taking the supplements and the bleeds will stop. Because of the severity of the last bleeding episode, I am truly concerned. Unfortunately, my HMO will only allow me to see a specialist with a referral from my Primary Care Doctor. Can you comment on my dilemma and tell me what you know about the safety of using the aforementioned herbs and anti-arthritic medications simultaneously. I am 82 years old and have only two health issues, the arthritis and hypertension which is well controlled with Lisinopril/HCTZ, 20/12. Thank you Nita Light
