Can I Take Primolut To Get Regular Periods As Every Month Was Normal?

Hi i am 35 yrs female i had my last period on 16th of Nov but till now my periods are not yet started, i was having regular periods in fact my periods comes 3 to 4 days early only .
Last time when i have period two days i had spotting and after that it it was ok but this month my period has not yet started
I have taken I PILL on 2nd of November and before that i have also taken I PILL in the month of October.
My thyroid test is also normal .My doctor advised me Primolut N but i have not yet started the same .
Please advice should i start primolut N and if yes when should i start ...? and if i take primolut N than when should i bleed and should my period gets normal from next month onwards......?
