Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
Using citalopram (celexa) together with amitriptyline can increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called the
serotonin syndrome, which may include symptoms such as confusion, hallucination, seizure, extreme changes in blood pressure,
increased heart rate, fever,
excessive sweating, shivering or shaking,
blurred vision, muscle spasm or stiffness, tremor,
incoordination, stomach cramp, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Still you can take both drug togather but just inform your doctor about that. If you have any side effects then consult your doctor urgently.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.
