Can I Take Clomid If I Am Spotting?
My period was due yesterday and so far i have had 3 days of spotting and some minor fresh bleeding when i wipe, I am due to start my first cycle of Clomid after trying and failing to conceive for 2 years. My cycle is regular with no spotting in between but I also had spotting 5 days after ovulation this month which has never happened before. I have never had this kind of bleeding before I am always heavy, i took a pregnancy test this afternoon which came back negative, however my consultant said I should only take the Clomid when I am bleeding not spotting, unsure what to do? Thank you for any advise.

Hello,
Spotting is not the same as the proper period. You need to have a proper bleeding before you start taking clomid. You need to wait for a few days and let the periods start properly.
