Can I Take Some Robitussin DM For The Cough Before Colonoscopy?
I have a colonoscopy scheduled for Feb. 5, 2014. I cannot take aspirin the week prior. I went to bed6 hours ago and started a dry cough that is keeping me from sleeping. Can I take some Robitussin DM for the cough or will that interfere with my Colonoscopy?

I appreciate your concern, simple cough and happened just once may not need any treatment it may only demands the medication when it long lasting or persistence more over underlying cause of cough is matter of concern and it need to be given medication but most of the cough are self limiting if this is non specific so you need not to worry about this, hope this information helps.
