Can I Undergo A Biopsy For An Anechoic Bi-lobed Cyst Soon After A Stent Procedure, Taking Plavix And Aspirin?

Recent endoscopy with ultrasound found 1.2 mm x0.8mm anechoic cyst which was bilobed a FNA was not done because I am on Plavix and aspirin because of two stents were placed in August. What would be the best course of action- talk to Cardio Doc about stopping Plavix&aspirin long enough to do the biopsy or wait until after the one year window paces from my stent procedure?

hello
after coronary artery stenting with DES , surgery or invasive procedures should be avoided for at least 1year, unless the need is urgent
-in this case whether to go ahead with biopsy depends on whether your doctor feels that delaying biopsy will be dangerous
-if biopsy can be deferred than it is advisable to wait for one year
thank you
