Can I Use Machine At Home To Monitor INR Levels And Fax Details To Doctor?

I m looking for a machine I can use at home to monitor my INR levels and then fax the results in to my doctor. I have discussed this with my doctor and she is OK with me doing this. I have been getting routine checks for more than 10 years and I now live outside of the city where my doctors reside.

Hi,
There is no harm in practicing INR checks at home and discuss with your doctor, as you adjust anticoagulant dose based on INR only.
However, keep in regular touch with your doctor and any change in the symptoms warrant a consultataion.
All the best.
