Can I Use Neutralizer Prior To The Gastric Emptying Study?

My 89 year old father is scheduled for a Gastric Empying study @8am Tuesday morning. In addition to GERS, he suffers from COPD & uses a nebulizer with a regimine of Brovna, Sodium Chloride, followed by an Accapella device to elosen & cough up phlem. The pre-procedure instructions say to stop all meds 48 hrs before the procedure. But say inhalers are ok. My queation is this; Are the nebulizer medications OK to continue prior to this procedure or maybe just then sodium chloride. or Should he stop all together. Thank You, Dori
