Can I Use Oxymetazoline Nasal Spray During Pregnancy?
hi ... i had an accident RTA oct 24 2010....from that time i am using oximetazolin nasal spray ....every night until now for my nose blocking 2pufs in each nostril.....and it gets clear in 10 min now i am pregnant with 6weeks .....and i feel the worse with my nose blocing ....plz advise me
For the complain of nasal blockage you might get relief by taking following measures: Steam inhalation,Use of a humidifier in the room,Use of Saline nasal spray. Gravity also plays a role in nasal congestion during sleeping.Raising the head end of your bed will also help you.Also drink lots of warm fluids as they help in break down of mucus secretions in the nose.
If still your complain is not improving,then it would be advisable to consult an Otolaryngologist Doctor for Nasal Endoscopy to find the cause of your nasal blockage and treat accordingly.
