Can Implanon Cause Dark Bleeding With Irregular Menstruation?

Ive had the implanon for almost two years now, and ive noticed alot of irregular bleeding. Since ive had the bar i havent really be able to keep track of my periods, they just come and go. But this last month or so i have been bleeding more than normal, and at times its really dark blood. It will stop for a few days then me and my partner will have intercourse and i will begin to bleed again. What could cause this? Do you think i might have misscarried?
