Can Lasik Treatment Cure The Cylindrical Power?

Hi,I am 27 years old.I am using contact lenses from past 12 years.My eye power is Right:-4.00(0.75 cylindrical)Left:-3.75(1 cylindrical). Is it advisable to go for LASIK? I have heard cylindrical power cannot be corrected in LASIK completely.Can I get completely cured of my eye power with LASIk?

i understand your concern.

Yes there are chance that cylindrical numbers can not be corrected with lasik.

But it is depend upon numbers and axis.

Consult opthalmologist and he will giude better way because before LASIK there are some test like corneal and eye sight examination.

So after that he will guide you about LASIK.

So consult opthalmologist and take advise ab. Advantage and Disadvantages of LASIK.
