Can Lynestrenol Be Taken To Regularise Periods While Breastfeeding?

hi,.i gave birth last march 12,2015 and i have my period last may 25,2015,. but until now i dont have period again and i want to ask if when will i start to take lynestrenol pill that my ob prescribe to me,,i just take pregnancy test this morning and it says negative,.please help me,,thanks by the way im a breasfeed mom

1. Lynesterol [orgalutin/exluton] is a progesterone only pill and is specifically used by women who does not tolerate estrogens and who are breast feeding.

PS. It is contraindicated when there is history of undiagnosed vaginal bleeding, blood clot disorder, severe liver impairment, and during pregnancy [and since your pregnancy test came negative thus can be used safely], only disadvantage is irregular vaginal bleeding

2. Recent studies have suggested that Exluton does not influence the production or the quality of breast milk, and although small amount may pass through breast milk but there are no known risk for the baby.
