I am a 56 year old woman with high cholesterol which is controlled with Lipitor I just found out my blood pressure is extremely high. I also have an issue with my left foot dragging a little with lower back, left side, would a full body MRI scan be useful with these different issues

Hello,

A full body MRI is unlikely to help with that.
A more targeted approach would be to do an MRI of the lumbar spine (which assesses the commonest site of the nerves to the legs being compressed).
If the lumbar spine MRI is normal, a nerve conduction study can be performed to assess if individual nerves have problems in your left leg.

As for your high blood pressure, the best next step is to start on anti-hypertensive medication to bring down the blood pressure.

All the best.
