Can Macrobid Be Taken Along With Methylprednisolone 4mg For Treating UTI?

I just started taking yesterday methylprednisolone 4 mg dspk. Side effects are really bothering me in addition to which I feel like I have a bladder/uti infection. I would like to take a macrobid pill which I have prescription for is there any drug interaction if I do?

Hi,

So far no interaction between Methylprednisolone and Macrobid. So, can start taking Macrobid pill as prescribed by your doctor while you are taking Methylprednisolone at the same time. You can take cranberry supplement as natural urine alkalinizer.
