Can Macrodantin And Estradiol Be Taken Together?
I am a 60 year old woman taking Macrodantin medication (50 mg capsules for 90 days) for bladder issues. I am also on low dosage (0.025) mcg skin patch estradiol supplementation ( I had total hysterectomy) years ago. Would the Macrodantin medication interact with the estradiol in a negative way? Would Estradiol affect the efficacy of estrogen and would there be side effects from their interaction? Should I go off estrogen while I am taking Macrodantin?

You can take microdantin and estrogen together. There is no negative interaction of these drugs. Estradiol is estrogen supplement so it will not inhibit its functioning. You continue taking both drugs. However for better outcome keep visiting your doctor on time.
