Can Meprate Be Taken To Delay Periods?

Hi, I ve just turned 14 and started my period six months ago, I am training for DofE and am due to start around these times, I prefer not to use tampons. Can I use meprate to pause or delay my periods or am I looking at the wrong kind of tablet, is there anything I can use at my age? Thanks
