Hello and welcome, I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.
I understand your concern. It would help to know your age and any other significant history like thyroid. Meprate will cause periods if there is estrogen in the body. If there is no estrogen to cause a primary growth of the uterine lining, meprate cannot act to produce periods. Periods come within 7 days after stopping meprate. So wait for 7 days. Causes for these may be hormonal disturbances, PCOD, premature menopause. If still no periods check for other hormone disturbances like thyroid, LH, FSH and prolactin and an ultrasound. If they are abnormal, direct treatment towards them. Hope this helped. Thanks for using HCM. Have a good day. Dr Nilajkumar Bagde Consultant Obstetrics and Gynecology
