I saw an info message regarding a class action law suit against Metformin citing possible kidney damage and renal failure. I was prescribed Metformin 8 years ago as an aid to help control cholesterol. My doctor removed me from Metformin stating possible adverse affects. Now I am in stage 3 kidney failure. Did Metformin cause the onset of this?
