General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Methycobalamin is vitamin B12 and used to reduce the numbness and nerve pain in Vitamin B12 deficiency.
You can take it if you have pain under the advise of your physician.
For infection it will not help.
To infection apply neomycin ointment.
Keep the area clean and dry
Take oral amoxiclav tablet to prevent the infection
Better to examine by your treating doctor.
Hope this may help you
