Can Minigynon-30 Be Taken For Irregular Menstruation?
I am 18 years old sometimes last year recognised I miss my period every other month I went to the doc I dont remember if it was regulated but I think so so few months ago I recognize the exact thing so I visited the doc today he prescribed minigynon 30 ,three packs,am concerned if it will regulate my period or affect me
Yes, it can be taken for irregular menses. Microgynon-30 is a form of combined oral contraceptive pills which contains two hormones - an estrogen and a progesterone. It is commonly used to prevent an unwanted pregnancy however it is also found to be useful in women who have problems with particularly heavy or irregular periods. Taking it usually results in lighter and more regular menstrual bleeding.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
