Can Monistat Be Taken For Irritated And Itchy Vagina?

I been having a odorless milky white discharge since Thursday I haven t took anything as of yet because I was unsure of what it might be but I was thinking a yeast infection and I brought a complete therapy of Monistat 1 day. Even though the discharge is slowing down I m now feeling more of an irritation in the vagina and it becoming itching. Do I have a yeast infection and is it okay to take the Monistat?

I really appreciate your concern, such discharge could be due to fungal infection and it can be managed with vaginal suppository "Povidone Iodine" for three times in day, take great care of hygiene, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
