Can Noonan S Syndrome And Chiari Malformation Cause Numbness In Legs?

my daughter has 2 possible diagnoses one being Hadju-Cheney Syndrome and the other being serpentine fibula polycysitic kidney syndrome. We are having our third episode with numb legs. She also has Noonan s syndrome and Chiari Malformation. Could this numbness be a result of either of the 2 new possible diagnoses? They can t find anything on her MRI s to show why this is happening.

Hello,

The numbness in the legs could be related to Chiary malformation. Anyway, I recommend checking thyroid hormone levels for possible thyroid gland dysfunction.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
