General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Noroxin is an antibiotic. It should be taken when you have done proper treatment. I suggest to do a urinalysis and a urine culture before taking this antibiotic. Meanwhile, I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
