Can Ranexa Be Taken While On Isosorbide Mononitrate And Isosorbide Dinitrate?

If I am taking isosorbid monotrate and isosorbide dinatrate can I take rexena with it. Just had two heart catherizations and had complication with the surgery losing a lot of blood but no transfusion and now have anemia and very low iron (am now taking iron pill). I do have stable angina.

Hi,

Yes, if indicated you can use it with the said drugs. Renexa is a new drug used in patients with heart failure, it is safe to be used with other drugs for heart failure like nitrates which you are taking.

It is specially used if beta blockers cannot be used for low BP or for other reasons.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
