Sarcoidosis is inflammatory disease. And best treatment for this is oral corticosteroid.
Solupred is having
prednisone. Prednisone is oral corticosteroid and it is treatment of choice for sarcoidosis.
But in some sarcoidosis patients,
steroids are not effective at lower dose. So we need to give higher dose. But with higher dose, side effects are more.
Sarcoidosis of nose can be treated surgically. So in my opinion you should consult ENT doctor and discuss about surgical option to rule out nasal sarcoid mass.
So better not to stop solupred with our consulting ENT doctor.
