Can Tramadol Trigger The Heart Rate While Using Pacemaker For Bradycardia?

I think that my pacemaker inserted for a LBBB and bradycardia is reacting to my Tramadol (with an added Tylenol tablet). When I took it an hour later my heart shot up to 163 and aflutter. Could it be related? I do not take too often the tramadol but when I need it. Now I am wondering how you could test to see if the incidents were related?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Tramadol will not affect your heart rate. Conditions like brady arrhythmias must be ruled out. Consult a cardiologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
