Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had normal delivery 43 days before. Bleeding was normal and reduced to spotting. But started with fresh red blood after some days. It is repeating again now. Doctor prescribed tragic mf 3 times a day for 5 days. Is it safe to use the drug during lactation.
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You can use trapic MF to reduce the bleeding. It will not secrete in breast milk and does not alter the composition of milk. You can use it for three times a day for 4 to 5 days. Maintain proper pelvic hygiene, eat healthy diet and maintain proper pelvic hygiene. If bleeding continue then consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examination and USG scan to find other problem.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Best regards, Dr. Sagar
