Can Triamcinolone Acetonide Be Used For Treating White Patches Around Hips?
Hi, when I was little around the of 6 or 7, my parents use to wear me with tight pants/clothes . Due to that I now have white spots or patches around my hips. I went to a dermatologist and she prescripited TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE CREAM. Now I m scared Because it s like a steroid. I would like to see if it s the right cream. . Also when I was little I went to a dermatologist and gave me a cream or ointment, but I don t remember the name. All I remember it s cost over $150.00 Will protopic help?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the hypopigmented patch then it need to be diagnosed for some skin disease instead of treating it, possibly it may not be due to what you have stated here, the given treatment may works here if it is the steroid responsive one, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
