How Should Cerave And Triamcinolone Acetonide Be Used For Treatment Of Eczema?
I was recently diagnosed with dry skin eczema on my shoulder, and was prescribed Triamcinolone acetonide cream. The dermatologist also suggested imstart using Cerave moisturizing cream on my body. My question is.....should I be applying the Cerave over the spot where I ve applied the Triamcinolone acetonide cream?
The moisturizers like Cerave cream be applied all over while your skin is still damp from a bath or shower. Pay special attention to your legs, arms, back and the sides of your body.
Then after some time wash and dry your hands. Before applying Triamcinolone cream, clean and dry the affected area. Apply a thin film of the cream to the affected area and gently rub in, usually 2 to 4 times daily or as directed by your doctor. Do not cover, bandage or wrap the area.
Hope the advice given above would be useful.
