Can Wellbutrin Be Used Together With Carvedilol?
My name is Debbie. I have Bi-polar disorder. I am currently on Lamictal 100 mg. and Zanax 0.25 mg. Both once a day. It is not helping me! I have high blood pressure which is now under control using Carvedilol 12,5 mg, twice a day. I want to try Welbutrin but don t know if it will cause a bad reaction with my blood pressure med.s. Would love your advice and any suggestions for other med.s that could help me. Thanks!

One option you can take wellbutrin with your psychiatrist's advice and monitor your BP regularly.There is chance of increase in blood pressure with bupropion.
Another option your lamictal dose can be increased up to 200 mg.
If you want to take wellbutrin for quitting smoking, propranolol and benzodiazepiense are good alternatives which you can discuss with your doctor.
