Can A Laminectomy Patient Take Meloxican For Arthritis Pain?
I just found an old prescription for meloxicam 7.5 from a pain specialist in2013. I have had a laminectomy L2 - S1 and it failed. I now have spinal cord stimulator which works very well. My question is can I take the meloxicam for sacral arthritis that is different from the spinal nerve pain. I have been through all the pain medication (duragesic 75 mg to Morphine 100mg qid with dilaudid 4 mg q4 hours for breakthrough, and nothing worked except the spinal cord stimulator. I have gone from the heavy doses of narcotics to nothing and do not want to get back into something I shouldn t. The MRI s show the arthritis in the areas.
