Can A Cancer Patient Be Given Electric Stimulation As A Treatment For Back Pain?

I had an ovarian tumor removed (plus histerectomy) two years ago and I see my oncologist regularly. After a recent auto accident I'm going for a physical therapy. My question is: can a cancer patient be given electric stimulation as a treatment for back pain? Thanks . BAS.

Hi
Thanks for your query.

Yes, definitely. Electric stimulation has got nothing to do with cancer recurrence risks and can be used safely.

Hope this helps.
