Can A Cartilage Grow In The Inside Corner Of The Eye?

I have a BB sized, clear, hard growth on the inside corner of my eye on the top of my tear duct next to my nose. it is very hard and slowly growing. I can not find a picture that resembles it on the net or a description that matches it. I am wondering if it could be cartilage growth?

Growth is possible, it is advisable to get it examined by doctor instead of trying to find it in net. Scaning can be done to know about the source of growth. After the diagnosis , proper treatment can be given. Treatment can be medicine or surgery.
