my daughter just had two stents placed in her femoral arterie...she had been on blood thinners, but when her leg was still larger than the other "left leg"she had the dye and it was discovered she had a large clot.can she live a normal life?oh and she is only 19yrs old.
Hi. Yes she can lead a near normal life but she would have to continue blood thinners for the stents to remain functional. Also by the history it seems she must be having a state due to which her blood has a tendency to clot. Therefore she might require life long blood thinners. To be more precise I would need a detailed history and what all procedures have been carried out.
