Can A Delay In Period Cause Nausea, Back Pain And Headache?
I am almost a month late on my period, I am having severe lower back pain, I am having nausea and headaches but all of my pregnancy tests are negative. The last time I had unprotected sex was 1/2/16 and my period was supposed to be on 1/4/16 but has not come yet. What do I do?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering if delay in period cause nausea, back pain and headache . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like muscle strain , kidney stones , tension headache , constipation , acute kidney failure or fatigue . Delayed period can also cause such symptoms ,consult gynecologist for it . I would suggest you to take proper rest , avoid lifting heavy things , apply warm compresses to back or take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . If condition doesn't get well then consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order x-ray or CT scan . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to neurologist for migraine or exertion headache type of problem
