Can A Healthy Baby Be Born If The Contraceptive Pills Are Taken?

We almost had sex, he had condom on, but we were drunk, we cannot remember whether he came in me. Is it safe to have an ipill. Will I be able to deliver a baby in future, please help. I'm sort of sure he didn't come in me, but he is worried. Is it wise to take an ipill contraceptive and will my husband ever come to know I had an ipill. Will I have a healthy baby after ipill.

Hi and welcome to HCM. If he had condom on their is very less chances of pregnancy but since you people were drunk and if condom has slipped by chance while having sex their are chances of pregnancy even he has not ejaculated in to you. Their is something called precum which may contain sperms and this may cause pregnancy. I advice you to take i pill (best if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse) and this is not going to affect your future chances of pregnancy, so no need to worry and your husband also will not know unless someone let him know. My suggestion is never have unprotected sex, use always a condom if you are not planning for a baby. i pills or any other emergency contraceptive pills are not safe if used repeatedly. All the best
