Can A Hit On Ear With Q-tip Damage Ear Drum?
I was cleaning my son's ear last night with a q-tip. He jerked his head and the q-tip went into the ear canal. When I pulled it out there was blood on the q-tip. This morning I noticed died blood on the outside of his ear. So I carefully used a wet q-tip and got blood on 2 q-tips. Then there was no more. Did it damage his ear drum? What should I do?

Hi, by your history it looks like you might have injured either ear canal or ear drum, so my advice for you is to keep the ear dry by avoiding water enrty into the injured ear. Take him to ent specialist to get his ear drum checked.
