What Causes Pinching Sensation In Abdomen And Watery Brown Menses?
I started having a weird pinching sensation in my lower left abdomen last night. I ve been worried about this weird brown watery period that started on June 28th and has been off and on since today July 2nd. I took a hpt and it was negative. I can t help but feel like the weird brown period and pain are related? My period is always heavy and red and starts first few days each month. What could this be?
The probable causes of brown watery discharge from vagina are pelvic inflammatory disease (that also causes pain in lower abdomen), vaginal infections like bacterial vaginosis, chlamydia etc., (if the discharge is foul smelling and associated with Itching or burning), or a miscarriage. Mostly, your symptoms are due to pelvic inflammatory disease.
Kindly consult a gynecologist as early as possible for clinical examination and ultrasound of lower abdomen if necessary. Please notify your gynecologist if you have been on oral contraceptive pills. Also, make a note of your last menstrual period, any fever, weight loss etc.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
