Can A Spider Bite Be Treated By Applying Clobetasol Cream On It?

I think I got bit by a spider there s a bite in the middle and there s a red ring around it can I use clobetasol or should I see a doctor it s been around a week and a half when I first went to the pharmacist they gave me Benadryl itching cream but I did not put any hydrocortisone or clobetasol on it should I try that before I go to the doctor

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You can try the steroid cream, clobetasol is strong so you would have to be careful to use the smallest amount necessary.

You can also try oral benadryl along with this for systemic effect. Oral benadryl is an over the counter medication.

If there is no improvement after 2 to 3 days or worsening then you can see your doctor for an assessment.
