Hi,

Yes, there is a possibility but rare. However, if a person has kidney disease he can develop infections of oral cavity teeth, gums and bad taste, bone loss.

I, therefore, recommend you to report emergency room for evaluation to identify cause whether a dental abscess is from kidney problem or kidney infection is from a dental abscess and accordingly, you would be relieved and it will save your health expenditure as well in moving here and there.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. SOHEEL HUSSAIN ZARGAR,
