Can A Wisdom Tooth Pushing Against Other Tooth Cause Headaches?

I recently went to my dentist and i have a impacted wisdom tooth on its pushing against my other tooth i havent been feeling pain from my wisdom tooth but i have been having headaches tightness in the back of my head and throbbing in my temples. My dentist said that the tooth is the cause of my head pain could this be true with no pain in the wisdom tooth?
