Can Acid Reflux Cause Chest Discomfort, Stomach Pain, And Ribcage Pain?
husband had chest discomfort and left arm numbness.. needed spine surgery.. did it. Lately he s been complaining about the chest discomfort, stomach pain, and now sharp pain in the rib area. He had a stress test done a year ago along with other tests. All show his heart is fine. Can acid reflux cause these discomforts he s feeling?

Yes . Acid reflux disease can cause chest discomfort.
If i was his treating physician i would have recommended Tablet Omeprzole 20 mg every morning half an hour before breakfast for 3 weeks.
Also kindly get a ECG done to be on the safer side to rule out any post surgical cardiovascular problems.
Kindly also visit the doctor who has done his spine surgery related to these complaints to rule out any post surgical problems.
