I have been using the same type of birth control for about a year and my period has been very regular. Recently I started my period about a week or so early, although I am in the middle of taking the active pills. I did get a little messed up/behind on taking my pills, but I have done that before and never started my period early. I am not sure whether I should finish the cycle of pills I am currently on in the hopes that my period will regulate itself, or just start a new cycle of pills so that my next period will come while I am taking the sugar pills. What should I do?
