Can Ampolipine Tablets Trigger Shingles?

was taking ampolipine 5mg for a week but have been feeling bad stop taking the tablet seen the doctor started to retake the tablet for two days then find rash on body which is said to be shingles would it be possiable tablet triggered shingles? doesnt seen to have spread other than rash to the side and lower back how long after taking a weeks tablets will it be ok to swim etc
