Can An Online Doctor Explain My Urine Test Report?
I am 40 years male. 3 month I have treated my teeth. In that period I have taken 3?4 pain killer medicine. At this time I have checked my urine and blood serum creatinine. In urine rbc and trace of albumin found. Creatinine level was 1.04 (within range 0.6-1.4). Ultrasogram picture of kidney show normal. After taking antobiotic I have again checked my urine and found rbc nil, albumin nil. Would you please let me know the status of my kidney. Is it normal or in risk.
Hello and welcome to HCM. As an Urologist,i can understand your anxiety. As your urine is now clear and kidney function test (creatinine) is normal, you've nothing to worry. o further confirm, that both kidneys should be normal, you may do an ultrasound scan-KUB. If reported normal, you can be assured that, both your kidneys are normal. If you've any doubts, you may send the scan,as a direct question,to me. Dr.Matthew J. Mangat.
