Can Any Online Doctor Help Me With The MRI Results?
My husband had a CVA in July 2013. His MRI revealed the following: -subacute lacunar infarct at right corona radiata and external capsule -chronic infarcts at right pons and left lentoform nucleus.
Subacute lacunar infarct is a very small area in which there was tissue loss due to deficient blood supply, but being in external capsule may mean that he may show residual neurological changes. Chronic infarcts in pons and lentiform nucleus are not dangerous but further infarcts can be risky.
