Can Being Brain Dead For Few Minutes Cause Loss Of Memory And Thoughts?

Hi, When I was 13 I had died from asthma related problems and I was pronouced dead. After 10 minutes of being dead, I was brought back. That was 6 years ago. Im starting to have mental issues for example memory loss, losing train of thought, and not being able to say what I want to in my head. I was wondering if I should get a brain scan and figure out if I have some sort of brain damage. Do you think I have brain damage from being brain dead for 10 minutes?

There is the potential for some mild brain damage from the lack of oxygen for a few minutes.

MRI imaging can help to look for large areas of stroke, but may not see microscopic issues.
