Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently starting having back pain. It does not hurt when I sit or lay but getting up and down is very difficult. Also bending to pick up something is very difficult. I am overweight (5 3 , 170lbs). I have been trying to lose weight since 1989 and everything I have tried has caused me to gain weight. All of my blood work has been good - I am on no medication. Is there a doctor that specializes in difficulty weight lose? I am concerned that my weight is causing the back pain. What do you think?
