Can Bump On Back Next To Spine Be A Sore Muscle?

I recently discovered a small bump on my back next to spine. I think it may be from overworking my body somehow, as several days before I was using a punching back and my was swore as heck. Could it be a swore muscle. Back feels stiff when I move my arms out to far.

Its unlikley to be a swollen muscle in your back. It could be a lipoma or sebaceous cyst. It is continues to be painful or increase in size I would recommend having a physician take a look at it.
