Can Bystolic Or Amlodipine Besylate Cause Tremors/ Shakiness In The Torso Especially At Night?

Hi, my question is: I take 2 different hypertension meds. Bystolic 5mg. and Amlodipine Besylate 5mg. I have been taking these 2 alternatively every other day for approx. 1 yr. I have noticed I have developed a tremor/shakiness feeling in my torso. it usually occurs at night around 2-6 am. I doesn t happen everynight, but it is enough to awaken me. I am concerned, I am thinking it is a side effect of one of the meds. Have you heard of this with either one?

Hello,
Your Bystolic contains nebivolol which is a highly selective beta blocker used for BP control. You may be true that this medicine can lead to tremors and shaking according to trials conducted but in very very small number of people taking this medicine. You should consult your doctor for this complain so that he can think of better options available for you.Always remember if you come across any side effect of any medicine you should report it to the doctor as early as possible. stay healthy.
Thank you.
